SOFTWARE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Are you the new junior or medior Software (Electrical) Engineer joining the young and dynamic Wormgoor team — working on ambitious projects for a diverse range of clients in the food processing industry? Does the idea of developing yourself in this role and in the fascinating niche of industrial refrigeration process technology appeal to you? Anything you don’t know yet, you’ll have the opportunity to learn.

THE FUNCTION

As a Software (80%) Electrical Engineer with knowledge of hardware (20%), you will be active in:

Hardware Engineering (20%)

Perform electrical calculations based on a P&ID;
Designing Single Line using SEE Electrical;
Selecting the right components;
Designing switchboards using See Electrical;
Checking material lists;
Revision of the electrical diagrams;
Hardware standardization

Software Engineering:(80%)

Creating a functional design based on a P&ID
and the electrical diagrams;
Creating I/O lists; Programming PLC software in CX-Programmer;
Design HMI screens CX-Designer;
Design SCADA system with GE iFIX;
Software standardization.

Electrical Engineering:

Commissioning of projects at home and abroad;
Carrying out electrical service work at customers' premises;
Ordering hardware and software components in consultation with manager;
Manage warehouse of electrical components;
You are the company's point of contact for everything related to software and hardware engineering.

THE PROFILE

As a Software Electrical Engineer, with knowledge of Hardware (is a plus), you have

HBO or MBO + direction Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics or equivalent;
Interested as a PLC programmer or experience with Omron PLCs
and SCADA software is a pre;
Experience with drawing packages such as SEE Electrical is desirable and a plus;
Independent attitude, eager to learn, careful, quality conscious, flexible,
team player, with good dutch and english
